From the author of Cemetery Road comes the first intelligent, gripping thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling Penn Cage series.

Natchez, Mississippi. Jewel of the South. City of old money and older sins. And childhood home of Houston prosecutor Penn Cage.

In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, this is where Penn has returned for solitude. This is where he hopes to find peace. What he discovers instead is his own family trapped in a mystery buried for thirty years but never forgotten—the town’s darkest secret, now set to trap and destroy Penn as well.

I want to start off by saying that my husband told me to check theses books out awhile ago. I can’t believe that it took me so long to start reading this book. I am so glad that I finally did. And can’t wait to continue reading theses books. Highly recommend this book. The narrator did amazing job keeping me wanting to know more. About Book Penn Cage just lost his wife and to take care of his daughter alone. He decides to leave Houston to move back to his home town Natchez Mississippi. To have help from his family. But when Penn returns things that were left unsolved. Penn wants to know more about and things and people end up hurt. Again I highly recommend this book. Will be starting book two soon.

In today’s (2019) America of political corruption, it is easy to understand this story’s highlights of the corruption of power in the past. The Quiet Game is a fast paced, hard-to-put down book. Well written. I’m a big fan of Greg Iles.

Great story but I’m not impressed with profane woman heroine whose language is disgustingly gross! Too bad. No class at all!

I was liking the story until almost end. It drag so much for long that I had to skip many pages. Don't think I'll keep with series, too long.

How is this not a movie ? Woah this man has talent beyond belief. I thanked the person who turned me on to this series throughout the book. Already planning a trip to take the Greg Isles tour and meet him.
