Jack Reacher takes aim at the White House in the sixth novel in Lee Child’s New York Times bestselling series.
Skilled, cautious, and anonymous, Jack Reacher is perfect for the job: to assassinate the vice president of the United States. Theoretically, of course. A female Secret Service agent wants Reacher to find the holes in her system, and fast—because a covert group already has the vice president in their sights. They’ve planned well. There’s just one thing they didn’t plan on: Reacher.

a bit tedious but delivers like a reacher novel in the end. lots of detail. not a lot of action. interesting plot. too long for me however.

Somehow I missed this book when I was reading books in print. I was desperate for something to read, having already read all of my favorite authors current works. So I starting looking at older books and found this one. A real winner. Jack Reacher never disappoints and neither does Lee Child. Thank you both.

I truly enjoy the work of Lee Child's and especially his Jack Reacher. Wish John Wayne were alive to really give the character the life it deserves. This novel is classic Reacher, however the plot and story line are so implausible and flawed that the book is impossible to buy. Great time killer on that cross country flight, but that's about all.
