The character development was interesting and made each individual very interesting. The setting felt like home. This book had me from the first page!!

It kept me reading. I did not suspect the real killer. Sometimes a little slow but then another secret would be revealed and the story would move along again.

Loved this book. Great characters, well developed. Some horrible moments but also some very tender moments. This could be a movie. I imagined it on the big screen as I was reading it.

I couldn’t put this book down, especially as it neared the climax towards the end. It was beautifully written with complex and fully formed characters. So much love and so much pain in a small town after the war.
