Thinking about navigating through the locks and gates. Was exciting and scary. I love the action.

Marc Cameron knocked it out of the park with Command and Control. Such a great book and a roller coaster ride. The settings were familiar. The action was fast and believable, the characters were incredibly well done! Get it now! Jack MacTavish

Good but not great.

I thought I’d never tire of the JR universe, but these last few installments are pinky finger shallow and pretty obvious money grabs. In this latest grab for cash, the campus is adding more members to the squad but somehow forgets about regular characters from the Jack Jr series…is that IP not allowed into the broader Jack Sr universe? This plot is a stretch of the imagination even by Tom Clancy standards and any interesting plot points developed throughout the book are undone by a sprint to the finish finale that leave this reader feeling dirty, in not a good way. As I continue to throw money at these cash grabs, because I’m an idiot, I do wonder if in doing so I’m promoting this nonsense and actively taking away from the legacy of the original books that were actually good? Do I need to get off this cash grab mobile and leave this universe in order to help save it?
