This book was not what I expected, initially had a difficult time understanding, but it drew me in and was sad to see it end.

I haven’t laughed out loud while reading in a long time, but this one I couldn’t stop laughing, embarrassing myself in public. Often, male writers don’t capture women convincingly, but this isn’t the case with David Nicholls. I checked twice to see if it was really written by a man, Marnie felt so real. The walking trip was beautiful without the blisters. A pleasurable light read. Might make you start googling walking trips in the UK.
